The Business Hub

The Business Hub

LVSMEDC in partnership with New Mexico Highlands University have created a business incubator call the Las Vegas Business Hub, which became operational in July 2016.  The Business Hub was developed to help entrepreneurs make their dreams of owning their own company a reality.  The Business Hub is located in Hewett Hall, 1103 National Ave on the NMHU campus in Las Vegas.  We offer a place where anyone interested in starting a business or an owner of an existing business can get assistance.  We invite all people from the general area to come in , describe their ideas and get support to see if their ideas can become viable businesses.  Volunteer business leaders from the community evaluate the ideas, offer suggestions, and help create business plans.  The Business Hub offers business connections for development of the company and mentoring to bring the entrepreneur together with the right resources at the right time.

We can provide business assessment and nurturing:

  • Help to determine viability of new business venture
  • Business planning and financial modeling
  • Appropriate mentor assigned to each person or group

  • Help to prepare business licenses and incorporation, if required
  • Get technical assistance for design and manufacturing, if required
